Management Accountant

Key Responsibilities:

• Financial Planning & Forecasting

1. Work directly with the CFO or VP of Finance on planning exercises including budgeting, forecasting, and profitability analysis.

2. Build and update dynamic financial models that support strategic initiatives.

3. Deliver timely and accurate financial forecasts, analyzing assumptions and business trends.

• Financial Reporting & Analysis

1. Analyze monthly performance data, variances, and key performance indicators (KPIs).

2. Assist in the month-end close process by preparing reports, validating data, and resolving discrepancies.

3. Develop insights into revenue, gross margin, and cost behavior across regions and product categories.

• Strategic Support & Business Case Development

1. Support pricing, investment, and operational decisions through comprehensive business case development.

2. Identify cost-saving opportunities and assess the financial impact of potential strategies.

3. Collaborate with sales, supply chain, and operations teams to align financial strategy with business execution.

• Systems, Tools & Automation

1. Maintain and improve financial dashboards and tools using Excel, Power BI, or similar platforms.

2. Support the development of automated reporting systems and processes.

3. Ensure financial data integrity and support audits by managing protected and accurate databases.

• Performance Monitoring & Communication

1. Create and consolidate quarterly reporting packages for internal stakeholders.

2. Communicate insights clearly through presentations, reports, and data visualizations.

3. Engage in continuous professional development through training, workshops, and peer collaboration.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Experience working in a financial analyst or FP&A role (1+ years preferred).
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, with attention to detail.
• Proficiency with Excel, financial modeling, and business intelligence tools.
• Familiarity with forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.

Preferred Skills and Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.
• Experience in a commercial, inventory-based environment.
• Proficiency with ERP systems Exposure to revenue recognition and financial reporting software.
• Understanding of accounting principles, taxation, and e-commerce regulations.
• Proven ability in financial strategy, cost reduction, and process automation

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹60,000.00 - ₹100,000.00 per month
