SMSF Accountant - Australian Accounting

Job Summary:
The Senior SMSF Accountant is responsible for managing Self-Managed Superannuation Fund (SMSF) compliance, auditing, and reporting for clients. The role involves reviewing fund performance, ensuring regulatory compliance, and guiding junior team members.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare, review, and lodge SMSF annual returns.
• Ensure compliance with SIS Act, ATO SMSF guidelines, and superannuation rules.
• Manage pension phase, contribution caps, LRBA compliance, and in-house asset rules.
• Provide technical guidance and supervision to junior SMSF accountants.
• Liaise with auditors, clients, and regulatory authorities.
• Maintain fund records, trustee minutes, and investment documentation.

Key Competencies:

• Strong knowledge of SMSF laws and regulations.
• Analytical and detail oriented.
• Leadership and mentoring skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively with clients.
• Proficiency in SMSF software (Class Super, BGL, Xero) and Excel.

Qualifications:

• B.com/M.com/CA/CPA or equivalent.
• 3–5 years of experience in SMSF accounting and compliance.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
