Maintenance Manager

As a Maintenance Manager, you will be accountable for managing, supervising, and motivating a team of maintenance technicians. Your role involves providing guidance, training, and support to ensure efficient and timely completion of maintenance tasks. You are required to develop and implement maintenance plans and schedules, communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders, and address issues promptly for smooth operations. - Assign tasks to technicians, prioritize workloads, and monitor progress to ensure timely and within budget completion - Inspect and maintain facilities, equipment, and systems such as AC, electrical, plumbing, and other mechanical systems - Implement and oversee preventive maintenance programs to minimize downtime and ensure equipment longevity - Respond to maintenance requests, troubleshoot problems, perform repairs, or coordinate with specialized contractors when necessary - Assist with departmental budgets, track maintenance expenditures, and manage inventory of tools and supplies - Ensure compliance with safety regulations, company policies, and relevant guidelines - Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, equipment history, and repair costs - Evaluate the performance of maintenance technicians, provide feedback, and identify areas for improvement - Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical issues with fabrication equipment, make decisions under pressure, and adapt to unexpected situations - Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment used in fabrication shops is required A good understanding of industrial equipment, including machinery used in fabrication, electrical systems, welding processes, materials, and safety procedures is crucial for this role. Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles and techniques to improve efficiency and reduce waste will be considered an added advantage.,
