The Opportunity
- The candidate for this position should have experience in the switchgear manufacturing industry, with a strong background in facilities and maintenance engineering. Knowledge in industrial engineering will be considered an advantage.
- Responsible for Leading and Planning of all Corrective, Preventive and Proactive Maintenance Activities for the factory assets.
- Project Management: Lead or support projects related to process improvement, automation, or system upgrades
How You Will Make It Impact
- Process Optimization: Analyze and improve manufacturing processes to increase efficiency and reduce waste.
- Ensure timely execution of Capital Expenditure / Improvement projects Leading the Lean Light House deployment with factory operations team .
- Accountable for maintaining and improving all maintenance KPIs’ Build strong cross-functional collaboration to ensure alignment across Safety, Quality, Operations, Maintenance, and Engineering.
- Monitor Machine & Scorecards and update Maintenance Strategy & Master Plan accordingly. Analyze production lines performance to develop strategies to overcome the current challenges and plan the feature plans towards zero downtime.
- Lead and support the implementation of initiatives such as Progressive Maintenance, Autonomous Maintenance, and other key TPM pillar elements. Lead root cause analysis for all breakdowns using tools like 5 Whys and Fishbone Diagram, and implement proactive maintenance plans to prevent recurrence.
- Conduct periodic performance reviews, while proactively planning and securing funds for the refurbishment or replacement of aging equipment, Optimize contractor utilization for maintenance support activities to ensure cost-effective and efficient operations.
- Manage spare parts and materials procurement, including planning and maintaining critical spares, initiating early escalations, and providing periodic reports on consumption and inventory consolidation.
- Responsible for planning and executing seamless Planned Maintenance without impacting plant operation through proper alignment with operations team, Leading the action closure of RCA, Audits, near miss, CAPA etc. and share on time update to all the relevant stakeholders.
- Lead and support factory digitization initiatives, ensuring effective implementation of digital solutions across operations, Drive operational efficiency and enhance productivity across procurement process. Drive Lean methodology across the value chain.

Your Background
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering - Mechanical/Electrical with 5-8 years' experience / Diploma in Mechanical/Electrical with 8-10 years' experience in a manufacturing environment required.
- Working knowledge of SAP PM and SD Module.
- ISO 9001,14001, 45001 & 50001 Knowledge.
- Proficiency in use of MS Office and both spoken-written English language is required.
- Self-motivated and self-organized.
- Analytical aptitude and thinking, strong data collection, and analytical skills for a complex project.
- Expertise in Data Analysis Tools (e.g., Excel, Minitab, Python)
- Excellent leadership and management skills.
- Proficiency in both spoken & written English language is required.
