KARDO is a menswear brand based in New Delhi, dedicated to honoring traditional Indian textile techniques while creating thoughtfully tailored garments. We work directly with artisans, use sustainable materials, and produce in small batches. Our collections are sold both domestically and internationally through wholesale, retail, and online channels.

Job Purpose

The Logistics Manager is responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing the movement and storage of goods across KARDO’s supply chain—both domestically and internationally. The role ensures efficient and sustainable logistics operations that support production timelines, inventory accuracy, customer deliveries, and compliance with trade regulations.

Key Responsibilities

1. Domestic & International Shipping

• Coordinate the shipment of finished goods to wholesale clients, retail partners, and e-commerce customers (B2B and B2C)
• Oversee export documentation, commercial invoices, and packing lists
• Ensure compliance with international trade regulations and customs requirements (especially EU and USA)
• Liaise with freight forwarders, courier partners, and customs brokers

2. Production Logistics

• Manage the movement of materials between vendors, workshops, and the central studio
• Track and schedule pickups/deliveries of trims, fabrics, and finished garments
• Maintain transparency of timelines for internal teams

3. Inventory & Warehousing

• Oversee warehouse organization, inbound and outbound flows
• Monitor stock levels and ensure accurate inventory tracking across systems
• Coordinate with the ecommerce and retail teams to ensure timely order fulfillment

4. Process & Systems

• Optimize logistics workflows for cost-efficiency and sustainability
• Maintain and improve relationships with logistics vendors and partners
• Evaluate and implement logistics software tools or integrations with platforms like Zedonk, WooCommerce, or Shopify

5. Reporting & Compliance

• Maintain up-to-date records for all shipments
• Track logistics KPIs such as delivery timelines, costs, and order accuracy
• Ensure documentation aligns with environmental and ethical compliance standards (especially for export markets)

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business, or a related field - preferable.
• 5 years of experience in logistics or supply chain management, preferably in fashion or consumer goods
• Knowledge of export-import processes and documentation, including understanding of HSN Codes and their corresponding product descriptions
• Familiarity with warehouse management and inventory systems
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Proficiency in MS Excel, Google Sheets;

  experience with ERP systems is a plus

• Interest in sustainability, slow fashion, and craftsmanship is a bonus

• Fluency in ENGLISH - both written and oral is a MUST

Nice to Have

• Experience with global shipping platforms (DHL, FedEx, UPS, Aramex, etc.)
• Understanding of compliance documentation like dual-use declarations, certificates of origin, etc.
• Past experience working with clothing brands a plus.
