Legal Manager

* Demonstrate extensive knowledge in non-litigation matters, focusing on drafting, vetting and analyzing various legal documents such as agreements, deeds, notices, wills, service provider agreements, complaints, replies, letters/replies to MHADA, SRA, BMC and various authorities with regards to redevelopment. Power of Attorney (POA), petitions, written statements, conveyance deeds, Public Notices, Development Agreements, Memorandum of Understanding (MOU), Rectification Deed, Leave and License Agreements, Lease Deeds, Gift Deeds, Release Deeds, and all documents related to property transfers.

* Apply structured problem solving skills in either roles (litigation team / Non litigation team) to create value for the organization.

* Provides timely advise to other departments on concerns/queries having a legal impact

* Examines contracts made by Contracts team to provide legal controls and checkpoints

* Independently conducts due diligence of properties/Societies and ensures that the title of the property is clear and marketable

* Review and advise Management on various amendments, notifications, acts, rules, latest judgments etc.

* Independently handle company/s critical legal matters, strategic legal matters of company filed by and against company

* Knowledge about MahaRERA registration and compliances

* Proficient in independently draft transaction documents for land purchase/development agreement/joint venture agreements and negotiating with counter party for closure.

* Co-ordinating with legal team / external Advocates/Counsel and prepare Legal MIS at the regular intervals

* Handling Team of 5-6 juniors and Lead, direct and guide a team to deliver 100% on-time and at-quality support across multiple divisions including project and liaising team.

Qualifications & other requirements:

* Bachelor's degree in Law (LLB) 3 years / 5 years.

* Having experience in Real Estate Company in India and having handled matters involving property laws including, project Building related compliances, etc.

* Should have excellent Commercial drafting skills MUST

* Should have sound knowledge of drafting of various building project related applications DRC, Property Laws etc as Stated above.

* Should be well versed with court procedures. Negotiating and communicating as well as settlement talks with clients

* Should have excellent drafting skills with regard to various project related work.

* Strong understanding of Real Estate laws and legal principles.

* Ability to work hard and respond within tight deadlines, strong emphasis on good quality, timely, and well-presented documents, strong ability to plan, multi-task, and organize routine work.

* Ability to research case laws/judgments and find relevant references/citations relating to the documents.

* Excellent written and spoken communication skills. Should be able to read write and understand documents in Marathi.

* Proficiency in using all Microsoft Office tools.

* Attention to detail and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

* Strong organizational and time management skills.

* Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team
