Legal Manager

Job Summary

We are looking for a Legal Manager to handle legal matters related to real estate projects, including land due diligence, documentation, regulatory compliance, and litigation management. The role involves supporting projects from land acquisition to completion while ensuring legal compliance and risk mitigation.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct title due diligence for land acquisition and prepare legal opinions
• Draft, review, and negotiate real estate documents such as:

Sales agreements

Sale Deeds

Development / Joint Development Agreements

Power of Attorney, MOUs, Lease Deeds and other related documents

• Ensure compliance with RERA Act, Stamp Act, Registration Act, and local land laws
• Coordinate with government authorities and Sub-Registrar offices
• Provide legal support to internal teams (Business Development, Sales, Projects)
• Assist in RERA filings, customer agreements, and conveyance documentation
• Liaise with external advocates and consultants

Skills Required

• Strong knowledge of real estate and property laws
• Excellent drafting and documentation skills
• Ability to manage multiple matters independently
• Good communication and coordination skills

Preferred Candidate Profile

• Experience with a real estate developer or law firm (property practice)
• Familiarity with local land laws and approval processes
• Exposure to RERA compliance and customer documentation
