Job Title: Legal & Company Secretary Executive

Responsibilities:

• Legal Compliance: Ensure adherence to all relevant laws, regulations, and corporate governance principles. 
• Contract Management: Draft, review, and negotiate various contracts and agreements. 
• Corporate Secretarial Functions: Manage and execute corporate secretarial duties, including board meetings, AGMs, and filings. 
• Regulatory Liaison: Interact with regulatory authorities and ensure timely compliance with statutory requirements. 
• Policy Development: Contribute to the development and implementation of corporate policies and procedures. 
• Due Diligence: Conduct legal due diligence and provide support for business transactions. 
• Risk Assessment: Identify legal risks and propose mitigation strategies to protect the organization. 
• Legal Research: Stay updated on legal developments and provide insights on their impact on the business. 
• Document Management: Maintain accurate records and documentation for legal and company secretarial matters. 
• Stakeholder Communication: Facilitate effective communication between legal, regulatory bodies, and internal stakeholders. 

Requirements:

• Educational Qualification: Degree in Law; Company Secretary qualification preferred but not mandatory. 
• Experience: 3+ years of relevant experience in legal and company secretarial functions. 
• Knowledge: Sound understanding of corporate law, compliance, and regulatory landscape. 
• Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills. 
• Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze complex legal issues and provide practical solutions. 
• Team Player: Collaborative mindset with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams. 
• Proactive: Self-motivated and capable of taking initiative in a dynamic work environment. 
• Integrity: High ethical standards and a commitment to maintaining confidentiality. 
• Technology Skills: Proficient in MS Office; familiarity with legal research tools. 
• Adaptability: Willingness to adapt to changing legal and business environments.
