About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Lead Recruiter to own and drive full-cycle recruitment across multiple departments. In this role, you will partner closely with hiring managers, lead a small recruiting team, and implement sourcing strategies to attract high-quality talent. The ideal candidate is organized, people-focused, and confident managing hiring pipelines in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end recruitment for a variety of technical and non-technical roles.
  • Work closely with hiring managers to understand job requirements and create effective sourcing plans.
  • Source candidates through job boards, LinkedIn Recruiter, referrals, social media, and networking events.
  • Conduct screening calls, schedule interviews, gather feedback, and manage communication through the hiring process.
  • Mentor and support junior recruiters and recruiting coordinators.
  • Prepare and post job descriptions that promote diversity, equity, and inclusion.
  • Manage ATS systems: candidate tracking, pipeline updates, interview notes, reporting.
  • Coordinate candidate assessments, reference checks, and offer negotiations.
  • Track hiring metrics (time-to-fill, pipeline conversion, candidate sources) and share reports with leadership.
  • Ensure compliance with Canadian employment, privacy, and human rights legislation.
  • Build and maintain talent pipelines for high-volume or specialized roles.
  • Represent the company at job fairs, industry events, and online branding initiatives.

Qualifications

  • 4+ years of recruitment experience, including full-cycle hiring.
  • Experience hiring across multiple functions (technical, corporate, operations, etc.).
  • Strong understanding of Canadian employment laws, privacy standards, and recruitment best practices.
  • Previous experience mentoring or leading recruiters is an asset.
  • Proficiency with ATS/HRIS systems and sourcing tools (LinkedIn Recruiter, Indeed, etc.).
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and organization skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple open roles and deadlines in a fast-moving environment.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, Freelance
Contract length: 12 months

Pay: Up to ₹2,000,000.00 per year
