Role Proficiency:Create and Organise testing process based on project requirement and manage test activities within team

Job Description: Key Responsibilities Build and maintain automation test suites using Java + Selenium, with support for Playwright/Cypress where needed. Implement BDD using Cucumber or similar frameworks for enhanced collaboration and maintainability. Manage and optimize test data, environment setups, and execution configurations. Integrate automation suites into CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps/Jenkins/GitHub Actions). Configure automated builds, scheduled runs, and quality gates. Enable real-time reporting, dashboarding, and visibility into automation outcomes. Ensure traceability, maintainability, and continuous improvement of the automation suite. Technical Skills 10 to 12 years of total experience in Quality Engineering with automation-heavy roles. Strong hands-on expertise in Core Java, Selenium WebDriver, TestNG/JUnit. Experience in BDD frameworks (Cucumber, Serenity). Exposure to Playwright, Cypress is a strong advantage. CI/CD experience with Jenkins, Azure DevOps, or GitHub Actions. Retail domain experience is a bonus but not mandatory. Leadership & Soft Skills Ability to establish automation in a greenfield environment and scale it strategically. Skilled in mentoring junior testers and uplifting team capability. Strong stakeholder management and communication with senior customer teams. Proactive, solution-oriented mindset with strong problem-solving skills.
