Lead II - Software Testing

Role Overview: You will collaborate with development, product, and operations teams to ensure comprehensive quality coverage across all projects. Your responsibilities will include performing API testing, host protocol testing (ISO 8583, Base64, etc.), and database validations. You will be developing and maintaining test frameworks using Java/Python, JUnit, and Selenium. Additionally, you will mentor and support junior QA and SDET team members, participate in code reviews, troubleshoot issues, and proactively identify potential risks. Key Responsibilities: - Collaborate with development, product, and operations teams to ensure quality coverage. - Perform API testing, host protocol testing, and database validations. - Develop and maintain test frameworks using Java/Python, JUnit, and Selenium. - Mentor and support junior QA and SDET team members. - Participate in code reviews, troubleshoot issues, and proactively identify risks. - Design and execute automated and manual test solutions for multiple projects. - Engage with stakeholders to capture requirements and ensure end-to-end test coverage. - Coordinate testing activities to meet deadlines and quality standards. Qualifications Required: - BE / B Tech / MCA degree. - 6-10 years of SDET experience. - Solid knowledge of API testing, protocol testing (ISO 8583, Base64), and hands-on experience with Java or Python for test automation. - Experience in UI testing with Selenium and cloud awareness (GCP or similar). - Ability to design and optimize test frameworks and strategies. - Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with distributed teams. - Experience with database validation, including DDL and DML for PostgreSQL or any database.
