Job Description

Job Title:

Mandate & Account Setup Operations Analyst

Overview of the Role:

end-to-end setup, maintenance, and closure

team player

Key Responsibilities:

External Account Management:

Onboarding, maintenance, and offboarding of third-party entities.
Setup and maintenance of:
- Custody accounts
- FX Broker accounts
- Clearing Broker & Prime Broker accounts
- Unit Trust Transfer Agent & Third-Party Administrator accounts
Market onboarding and Custody arrangements.
Exchange-Traded Derivative (ETD) account setup with Clearing Brokers.
Uploading KYC and Mandate NAV data to Counterparty Manager (CPM).
Handling Level 1 KYC queries and monitoring/refreshing expiring documents.

Mandate & Portfolio Management:

Setup, maintenance, and closure of:
- Mandates
- Portfolios
- Aladdin client data masters
Static data updates and broker configurations.
Maintenance of Aladdin Portfolio Groups.
Derivative agreement setup in Aladdin (Deco).
Updates for Fund Manager changes, Investment Policies, and Objectives.
Assignment of trading and simple Portfolio Compliance rules.
Trade reporting configuration.

Fund Implementation & Lifecycle Events:

Launch and closure of funds and share classes.
Side pocket creation and redemptions.
Shareholder mailings.
Legal Entity Identifier (LEI) creation and renewals.

Must-Have Skills & Qualifications:

Experience & Knowledge:
- KYC/AML
- LEI requirements
- operational risk
Systems Proficiency:
- Microsoft Excel
- Aladdin
Communication:
- written and verbal communication
Work Ethic & Attention to Detail:
- manage high-volume tasks
- attention to detail
Client Service Orientation:
- delivering high-quality and timely service

Good-to-Have Skills & Qualifications:

Experience with:
- Fund launch processes
- derivative agreements
Familiarity with:
- Aladdin Portfolio Groups
- Legal Entity Identifier (LEI)
Exposure to:
- Portfolio compliance setup
- asset management
