Mandate & Account Setup Operations Analyst

Overview Of The Role
The primary responsibility of this role is to manage the
end-to-end setup, maintenance, and closure
of mandates, portfolios, agreements, and accounts across internal systems. The role involves frequent interaction with internal teams and external parties, such as executing brokers, custodians, and fund administrators.The ideal candidate is a

Key Responsibilities
External Account Management:
- Onboarding, maintenance, and offboarding of third-party entities.
- Setup and maintenance of:
- Custody accounts
- FX Broker accounts
- Clearing Broker & Prime Broker accounts
- Unit Trust Transfer Agent & Third-Party Administrator accounts
- Market onboarding and Custody arrangements.
- Exchange-Traded Derivative (ETD) account setup with Clearing Brokers.
- Uploading KYC and Mandate NAV data to Counterparty Manager (CPM).
- Handling Level 1 KYC queries and monitoring/refreshing expiring documents.
Mandate & Portfolio Management
- Setup, maintenance, and closure of:
- Mandates
- Portfolios
- Aladdin client data masters
- Static data updates and broker configurations.
- Maintenance of Aladdin Portfolio Groups.
- Derivative agreement setup in Aladdin (Deco).
- Updates for Fund Manager changes, Investment Policies, and Objectives.
- Assignment of trading and simple Portfolio Compliance rules.
- Trade reporting configuration.
Fund Implementation & Lifecycle Events
- Launch and closure of funds and share classes.
- Side pocket creation and redemptions.
- Shareholder mailings.
- Legal Entity Identifier (LEI) creation and renewals.
Must-Have Skills & Qualifications
- Experience & Knowledge:
- Proven understanding of KYC/AML processes.
- Familiarity with LEI requirements and regulatory documentation.
- Solid knowledge of operational risk and control awareness.
- Systems Proficiency:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (e.g., formulas, lookups, pivot tables).
- Experience with systems such as Aladdin, CPM, or similar financial operations platforms.
- Communication:
- Strong written and verbal communication skills to interact with internal stakeholders and external counterparts.
- Work Ethic & Attention to Detail:
- Ability to manage high-volume tasks accurately under pressure.

- Legal Entity Identifier (LEI) systems and their lifecycle.
- Exposure to:
- Portfolio compliance setup and monitoring.
- Operational processes within asset management, custody, or prime brokerage environments.
