Job Summary The Lead Corporate Accounts will manage and grow AM/NS India’s relationships with its most critical corporate clients, including large conglomerates, manufacturing majors, and strategic partners. This senior role requires developing deep client partnerships, driving high-volume sales across product lines, negotiating large-scale contracts, and ensuring AM/NS India remains the preferred steel supplier for top-tier clients. The incumbent will act as a strategic advisor, identifying opportunities for mutual growth and value creation.
Key Responsibilities Strategic Account Leadership & Management Develop and execute long-term strategic account plans for top-tier corporate clients.
Serve as the senior relationship owner at CXO and procurement head levels.
Understand clients’ business strategies, expansion plans, and procurement models.
Identify new divisions, subsidiaries, and projects to increase share of business.
Lead cross-functional teams (technical, supply chain, finance, credit) to deliver holistic solutions.
Sales & Business Development Achieve and exceed sales, revenue, and volume targets across multiple steel product lines.
Lead large-scale tenders, annual contracts, and partnership negotiations.
Create customized value propositions aligned with client needs.
Collaborate with technical teams to introduce innovative product solutions.
Drive profitability and long-term contracts with key clients.
Market Intelligence & Strategic Insights Track industry trends, competitor strategies, and regulatory developments.
Provide insights to senior leadership for capacity planning and product strategy.
Anticipate future client requirements and influence product development.
Relationship & Stakeholder Management Build trusted partnerships with client decision-makers and influencers.
Act as a strategic advisor by addressing client challenges with customized solutions.
Ensure high customer satisfaction by resolving issues promptly and effectively.
Performance Tracking & Reporting Maintain accurate forecasts, pipelines, and account plans in CRM.
Present account performance reports and strategic initiatives to senior leadership.
Analyze sales trends and identify opportunities for growth and optimization.
Qualifications & Experience
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Metallurgy, Mechanical, Civil, Industrial) / Business Administration.
MBA from a reputed institution preferred.
Experience:
12–18 years in B2B Sales / Corporate Accounts, preferably in steel / metals / heavy manufacturing / infrastructure.
Proven track record in managing large corporate accounts, strategic negotiations, and revenue growth.
