Inviting applications for the role of Lead Consultant Network Engineer
Resource will be part of a global team that is responsible for the full life cycle of our networking technologies. This includes but is not limited to routers, switches, firewalls and wireless devices, support configuration, upgrade and maintenance.
Responsibilities
    Responsibilities may require working evenings and weekends, sometimes with little advanced notice.
    Work as part of a team and provide 24x7 support
    Setup and maintain documentation and standards
    Administration and support for global network infrastructure. This includes but is not limited to routers, switches, firewalls and wireless devices.
    Collaborate with network engineers on architectural network design improvements that meet strategic business needs in accordance with Dentsply Sirona global policies and standards.
    Create and maintain network and project documentation.
    Work with other Global Technical teams to complete projects and resolve issues.
    Responsible for managing network related outages and troubleshooting end-to-end network problems.
    Respond to Service Desk Requests for both resolutions and escalation of issues
    Experience as a network engineer including firewalls, switches, routers and wireless solutions.

    Experience with the following Technologies
    Cisco Catalyst and Nexus switches
    Routing protocols including BGP, HSRP, STP, OSPF
    Understanding and practical experience with technologies like MPLS and DMVPN
    Trouble shooting network related issues to resolution
    Experience with monitoring tool (SolarWinds Orion a plus)
    Experience with SD-WAN and Identity Services Engine are desirable.
    Must have hands-on experience with Cisco specific Local and Wide Area Networking, Wifi deployments, and Firewall management.
    Strong troubleshooting skills to triage issues related to the Network and connected systems.
    Ability to gather information and understand business needs while establishing and maintaining a high level of customer trust and confidence.
    Proven ability to work business requirements into solutions that map to technology capabilities and integration with existing infrastructure
    Good understanding of ITIL/ITSM principles in managing operational service delivery
    Demonstrate ability and experience in working with vendors and service providers.
    Excellent communication (written, verbal and presentation) skills, and advanced problem-solving orientation and decision-making skills Proven ability to develop, present and justify positions to all levels within the company.
    Excellent knowledge management, process management, and documentation skills including architecture diagrams
    Excellent time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and production incidents simultaneously
    Work within a team environment, manage systems, lead upgrades, coordinate installs and work from a ticketing queue
    Self-motivated, quick learner

Very good written and presentation / verbal communication skills with experience of customer interfacing role. In-depth requirement understanding skills with good analytical and problem-solving ability, interpersonal efficiency, and positive attitude
