Job Summary:

This position requires in depth knowledge of Trade life cycle, Derivatives, Corporate actions, Collateral management, Securities setup and pricing and Private assets. The role requires good knowledge of MS excel & analytical skills.

Key Accountabilities:

• F&A Client Operations - Service Delivery
• Hands-on experience with Blackrock Aladdin and Sim Corp dimension is highly preferred
• Experience in trade support and investment operations for both public assets (fixed income, ETFs and derivatives) and private assets (unlisted fund investments)
• Overall good understanding of Trade life cycle
• Expertise middle and back-office activities across the full trade lifecycle

• 
  Trade support, matching, and settlement of public securities
• Cash and asset reconciliations
• Private assets operations support
• Derivatives lifecycle management and confirmation
• Cash movements and payments
• Securities setup, static data maintenance, and pricing
• Corporate actions processing and instruction handling
• Collateral and margin management

• Trade Processing & Corporate Actions - Security Master File recon, Trade reconciliation and posting, Liaison with broker and bank for allocations and settlements; process corporate actions as per type and instruct bank accordingly.
• Derivative Margin Call & Payments - Reconcile and process daily derivative margin calls, Monitor securities movement on the bank website and update payment instructions as per contract maturity including monitoring of settlements.
• Investment Pricing and Reporting - Reconcile and report prices for each security to portfolio managers for approval
• Private Placement, Private Equities– Comprehend related documents and record the transaction in relevant system, instruct at bank and monitor funding
• Month/quarter end reporting for securities and derivatives (stakeholders: CIO/Investment Acc team/Asset Liability Mgt Team/Portfolio managers)
• Good communication & business writing skills. Ability to liaison with multiple departments (stakeholders, brokers, custodians etc.)
• Documentation maintenance, handle audit requests

• Flexible working in all shifts (Australia, UK and US time zones)
• Open to shift extensions as and when required
• Candidate should also be open to work on weekends, in case of process requirement.

• Knowledge about global financial market, regulatory and insurance industry
• Multi culture awareness
• Advance MS Excel skills

• Good computer navigation & keyboard skills
• Good hands-on knowledge of MS Excel and MS applications
  • Blackrock Aladdin and Sim Corp dimension, Bloomberg, Custody portals
  • Experience in Power BI and Alteryx

• Bachelor's degree, MBA Finance, any certification in Financial Instruments, Investment Banking, CFA – Level 1 or 2 are preferred
• Preferred relevant experience with 6-8 years of experience
• Data analytics, application management and project support experience in insurance
