About The Team
This is a capability within First Citizens India focused primarily on supporting UAT for Wire Operations and ACH processes. The team plays a critical role in ensuring system performance and successful change management by following testing protocols in a collaborative manner. Impact
In this role you will be responsible for performing independent testing and helping in developing methods of measuring the quality and performance of user acceptance testing. Supports testing and activities that identify issues, trends and gaps during testing phase. Work closely with testing leads to create test plan and strategy. Writes test cases to business requirements/user stories, Uploads cases to testing tool and executes testing from tool. Logs testing defects and works with business to ensure appropriate severity is provided. Follows SDLC guidelines.
Key Deliverables
Test Planning
– Participates in business requirement meetings, ensures requirement is testable. Assists with creating test plan and test strategy for User Acceptance Testing piece. Writes test cases to requirements or user stories. Uses testing tool to upload test cases. Ensures that all test cases trace back to requirements/user stories
Execution
– During execution phase executes tests cases within testing tool. Analyzes testing results to ensure test scenario passes. Opens defects for scenarios that fail to meet the requirements. Works with business unit to ensure proper severity is given to the defect. Performs defect retesting. Assists with User Acceptance testing daily testing status reports. Participates in defect triage meetings and overall project meetings. Supports all forms of testing, end to end, functional, and regression. Ensure follow System Development Lifecycle
Data Analysis
– Sources, compiles and interprets data analysis data for accuracy and efficiency. Effectively communicate analysis of output through reporting.
Timeliness
– Prioritize testing based on critical test cases. Ensures meeting standard test execution requirements.
Initiative and continuous improvement
– Escalate issues during planning and execution phase. Raise defects and ensure proper prioritization is given. Assist team in ensuring all testing is completed within the allotted timelines provided. Raise concerns to management and assist team members when and where applicable.
Compliance
– Compliance with all FCB regulatory training and ensure these programs and policies are applied consistently across the business. Personally responsible for compliance with all such regulatory and governance programs.

.Knowledge of phases of a project Understanding requirement testing documents required for SDLC but also business requirements. Proactive in escalating potential risks to seniors in the team or manager.

Banking & Payments Domain Knowledge
7-10 Years experience with banking cash management, treasury and depositsSubject matter expertise on ACH and Wire transfer operations is preferred
