Great Team spirit, customer centricity and Continuous Improvement (CI) mindset are key elements you need, to fit in the team.The Global Loan Ops team which is a part of the Global Operations team at Bangalore is hiring a full-time Senior Manager Banking Operations to drive the banks Loan Operations Governance along with QA and Loan Servicing. This role is responsible for, but not limited to, the following functions.Performs assigned activities required to support Global Loan Operations. Works independently and has proven expertise that is applied to the essential functions. Uses knowledge or resources to resolve complex issues; seldom encounters issues requiring customer concern. General operations functions may include, but are not limited to:Creating and guiding a team of talented individuals form the ground up focused on Data Quality exceptions and/or quality control activities.Sets direction for their team(s) to achieve the overall GLO/Bank’s strategic goals.Supports Bank’s first line of defense initiatives through team(s) adherence to company policies and procedures.Performance coaching and guidance on how to inspire, improve and take their team(s) performance to the next level.Sets team performance/behavior expectations and holds team(s) accountable.Will promote a control and process improvement mindset, through innovation, to identify and support scalability and efficiency at the right margins.Solid understanding in how to motivate and develop talent for Bank.Will foster an environment of accountability, learning and growth across their team; provides strong thought leadership and analytical skills on how best to approach or solve a situation.Capable of processing and review of Interest changes, commitment amount, fees, etc.Engage the appropriate teams/partners and/or LT to resolve the client sensitive issues.Reviews loan documentsEnsuring self and teamwork within established procedures, processes and/or regulatory guideline.Proactively identifies opportunities that are going to improve the business, processes, client experience or team(s) performance; Recommendations are vetted with key stakeholders and/or business partners as well as their leader.Experience in back-office operations, banking, or financial services with focus on controls strongly preferred.Providing operational support to clients & business partners consistent with bank policy & proceduresGood understanding of the Lending processes (Onboarding, Servicing, Audits), hands on experience on loan boarding must.Solid understanding of Bank products, regulations, department processes & proceduresMust have experience on Loan Accounting Systems such as LoanIQ, ACBS, Signature, Flexcube, ALSProactively handling operational risk inherent in businessEnsuring all operational risk/issues are identified and mitigated appropriately and proactively.Builds relationships with teams/partners and other internal clients and collaborates to resolve issues. Recommends potential process improvements. Special Projects as assigned by management.Recommends potential improvements in execution. Special Projects as assigned by management and provide excellent service and support.Participates in meetings, coaching and other duties as assigned by management.What You’ll Bring:Proven expertise of bank products, loan systems (Loan IQ/ACBS/Flexcube etc.) regulations, processes, and procedures; may require expertise of more than one group of operational functions.Demonstrated Commercial Lending Operations experience which includes, but is not limited to the Boarding, Funding and Servicing of Commercial LoansDemonstrated knowledge of the associated processes, procedures, controls, and documentation associated with Commercial LoansStrong ability to multi-task, handle high volumes, and support cross-functional teams.Excellent written and verbal communication skills with ability to convey information.Solid networking skills, strong ability to establish relationships with internal clients. Strong attention to detailCritical thinking with the awareness to know when to challenge or question.Able to work in a transforming environment and be an ambassador for change.Skills for creating process and procedures.Proactively highlight threats & compliance issues to the management in a timely manner.Successfully meet tight SLAs as required by the operational management requirements.Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.Strong Leadership acumen and motivator with ability to influence at all levels.Ability to drive initiatives globally.Management experience, team building experience.Education and Experience:Bachelor’s Degree (preferably commerce)Candidates who are passionate about Loan Operations, QC/QA, Servicing, Governance & willing to work in the US Shift.At least 10-12 years of prior work experience within Loan Boarding, Loan Servicing, Quality control or Quality Audit process at any global bank.Setting client expectations, identifying risk & following through with our internal partners are critical for this role.Proficiency in MS products (CRM, Outlook, PowerPoint), database apps, workflow platforms &/or analytics tools, is a plus.Proven knowledge of bank, compliance or investment terminology or products is preferred.Have a strong ability to multi-task and handle multiple requirements from internal stakeholders effectively.Ability to work in a structured, high volume, time-sensitive and high-risk environment.Have a solid functional overview of various teams, processes & stakeholders from connected departments.Be able to independently solve/support requirements across all connected teams.Highly adaptable and resilient, must be open to new ideas and willing to support fluid workflows.Manage time effectively while driving the above responsibilities diligently.Escalation handling, clarifying questions and participating in projects within the team
