Role Overview


We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Key Account Manager to drive brand/OEM approvals for our masterbatch business. This role requires building strong relationships with brands (OEMs) and their Tier-1/Tier-2 vendors to ensure product approvals, specification listings, and long-term business growth. The focus will span across any brand or industry that consumes masterbatch, without limitation to a single sector.


Key Responsibilities


  • Brand/OEM Approvals:

    Engage with leading brands (OEMs) to drive specification approvals for our masterbatches, ensuring that products are qualified and listed in their approved vendor ecosystems.


  • Tier-1 & Tier-2 Vendor Engagement:

    Connect with key Tier-1 and Tier-2 vendors supplying to brands/OEMs, facilitating trials, approvals, and consistent product adoption.


  • Business Development:

    Identify, prospect, and develop new accounts across diverse industries that require masterbatch solutions.


  • Account Management:

    Serve as the primary relationship manager for strategic accounts, ensuring high satisfaction, sustained engagement, and business growth.


  • Technical Collaboration:

    Work closely with internal R&D/technical teams to support trials, sampling, and product performance validation.


  • Market Intelligence:

    Track competitor activity, industry trends, and brand/OEM sourcing policies to identify opportunities and risks.


  • Cross-Functional Coordination:

    Partner with sales, marketing, supply chain, and production teams to deliver value to customers and achieve business goals.


Key Skills & Competencies


  • Strong networking and relationship-building skills with brands (OEMs) and vendors.
  • Strong business development skills.
  • Solid understanding of the plastics/polymer industry.
  • Proven track record of business development and key account management in B2B environments.
  • Fluency in English (spoken and written) is mandatory, with excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple stakeholders across industries.


Qualifications & Experience


  • Bachelor’s degree in Chemicals/Polymer Engineering/Plastics Technology (preferred) or equivalent.
  • MBA in Marketing/Business Management is an advantage.
  • 5–10 years of experience in sales, key account management, or brand/OEM approvals within the plastics, masterbatch, additives, or polymer industry.
  • Prior experience engaging with brands and their vendor ecosystems for specification approvals is highly desirable.
