Role Overview - Amazon Account Manager

Amazon Account Manager

You will manage cataloging, operations, advertising, and strategy for Amazon stores - collaborating closely with creatives, supply chain teams, and paid media experts to drive top-line and bottom-line results.


Key Responsibilities

Strategy & Planning

  • Build and execute Amazon GTM strategies across:
  • Sponsored Ads (SP, SB, SD), Amazon DSP
  • Brand Store Optimization, Deals, A+ Content, Subscribe & Save
  • Align goals with KPIs such as TACoS, revenue growth, conversion rate, ranking, and Buy Box %
  • Develop launch strategies for new products and categories
  • Define pricing, competitor positioning, and listing SEO plans



Execution & Optimization

  • Oversee catalog management, listing quality, and FBA/FBM health
  • Optimize A+ Content, bullet points, titles, and images based on SEO and CRO best practices
  • Monitor account health, inventory, and operational performance
  • Optimize campaign budgets, keyword targeting, and sales velocity


Team Leadership

  • Manage a team of 4–6 Amazon growth specialists across cataloging, ads, and support
  • Set KPIs, manage workflows, and conduct reviews
  • Lead client calls, troubleshoot issues, and set redressal protocols
  • Enable team with tools training, policy updates, and SOPs


Reporting & Insights

  • Prepare performance dashboards using:
  • Brand Analytics, Business Reports, and 3rd party analytics
  • Looker Studio, GA4 for D2C + Amazon omni-channel reporting
  • Present weekly/monthly performance to clients with data-backed recommendations
  • Conduct audits and opportunity assessments across accounts


Innovation & Automation

  • Use automation tools for inventory alerts, pricing strategies, and customer review tracking
  • Leverage Helium 10, Jungle Scout, and AI content generators to scale operations
  • Experiment with new formats (video ads, virtual bundles, coupons)


Tools & Platforms

  • Platforms:

    Amazon Seller Central, Vendor Central, Brand Analytics, Amazon DSP.
  • Ad Tools:

    Amazon Ads Console, Perpetua, Pacvue, Bulk Operations
  • Analytics:

    Business Reports, Helium 10, Looker Studio
  • Automation:

    Zapier, Inventory Planners, FeedbackWhiz


Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

  • Revenue Growth:

    Drive MoM/YoY growth aligned with client targets
  • TACoS Optimization:

    Maintain or reduce TACoS while increasing sales
  • Listing Health Score:

    Maintain ≥95% listing quality and compliance
  • Buy Box Ownership:

    Maximize Buy Box share across high-priority ASINs
  • Operational SLAs:

    Ensure inventory levels, shipping, and reviews meet benchmarks
  • Review Management:

    Grow average rating and review velocity using automated tools



Requirements

Experience

  • 2-4 years of experience managing Amazon accounts (Seller or Vendor)
  • Proven track record of scaling Amazon businesses across different categories
  • Experience handling ₹50L+ monthly revenue portfolios

  • Technical Skills

    • Strong in catalog setup, listing SEO, keyword optimization, and store design
    • Expertise in ad strategy, pricing, inventory planning, and growth tracking
    • Proficiency with brand registry, A+ Content, and compliance best practices
