A fast-growing organization in the IT Services sector delivering digital transformation, enterprise software solutions, managed services, and system integration for global clients. We partner with business stakeholders to translate operational needs into reliable, scalable technology solutions and continuous process improvements. This is an on-site, India-based role for a hands-on Junior Business Analyst to join a delivery-focused team.

Role & Responsibilities

Gather and document business and functional requirements through workshops, interviews, and analysis of existing systems.
Create clear user stories, acceptance criteria, process maps, and wireframes to guide development and QA teams.
Maintain and prioritize the product backlog in collaboration with Product Owners and Scrum teams using Agile practices.
Coordinate with developers, QA, and stakeholders to clarify requirements, validate features, and support sprint ceremonies.
Perform basic data analysis and SQL queries to validate reports, identify data issues, and support decision-making.
Prepare concise status updates, requirements artefacts, and handovers for deployment and support teams.

Skills & Qualifications

Must-Have

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, or related field.
Experience working in an IT services or software development environment (on-site delivery).
Hands-on with JIRA for backlog management and Confluence for documentation.
Ability to write clear user stories and acceptance criteria; experience with process mapping.
Basic SQL skills for data validation and ad-hoc reporting.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint for analysis and stakeholder communication.

Preferred

Exposure to Agile/Scrum ceremonies and tools in a delivery setting.
Familiarity with UI wireframing tools (e.g., Lucidchart, Visio) or lightweight prototyping.
Entry-level business analysis certification (e.g., IIBA ECBA) or relevant training.
