Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled IVR Developer to join our dynamic team at Twixor. This full-time, mid-level position is based in Chennai and requires a maximum of 6 years of relevant work experience. The successful candidate will play a critical role in developing and maintaining our interactive voice response systems, ensuring seamless communication solutions that enhance customer engagement and satisfaction.


Qualifications and Skills

  • Proven experience with Asterisk (PBX) and knowledge of configuring and managing Asterisk servers to create IVR solutions.
  • Proficiency in Asterisk Dial Plan to effectively build and manage IVR call flows and enhance user interaction.
  • Strong understanding of IVR Systems, enabling the design of voice and video call solutions to meet business requirements.
  • Expertise in developing IVR menus that provide user-friendly navigation and improve caller experience.
  • Solid understanding of VoiceXML to create adaptive and dynamic IVR applications and efficient call handling.
  • Experience with Asterisk, SIP (Mandatory skill) Session Initiation Protocol (SIP) for managing voice and video call signaling and media.
  • Knowledge of RTP (Real Time Protocol) (Mandatory skill) for real-time delivery of multimedia content over networks.
  • Experience with AGI (Asterisk Gateway Interface) (Mandatory skill) to create dynamic call processes and enhance IVR functionality.


Roles and Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain robust IVR solutions using Asterisk to meet business and customer needs across various messaging channels.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate IVR systems with other digital platforms for seamless communication.
  • Design and implement intuitive IVR menus and call flows to enhance the user experience and streamline interactions.
  • Optimize IVR performance by troubleshooting, identifying issues, and implementing effective solutions for improved efficiency.
  • Implement and maintain secure voice and video call solutions adhering to industry standards and protocols.
  • Work closely with AI/NLP teams to enhance IVR capabilities with intent-driven communications and hyper-personalization strategies.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in IVR and telephony technologies to drive continuous improvement.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to other team members and contribute to knowledge sharing and training initiatives.

Work Location: Chennai (WFO)
