IT Manager

Job Description: IT Manager The IT Manager is responsible for leading the organization’s IT operations and infrastructure, ensuring all systems run efficiently and securely across onsite and branch locations. This role includes team leadership, vendor management, compliance, network and system administration, and hands-on support to meet the evolving technological needs of the business. --- Responsibilities Strategy, Operations & Security * Develop and implement the organization’s IT strategy in alignment with business goals. * Plan and manage IT budgets and cost controls. * Ensure cybersecurity best practices and data protection compliance. * Manage vendor relationships for IT hardware, software, and services. * Support planning and implementation of major IT infrastructure changes. Infrastructure & System Management * Troubleshoot and resolve general network issues; ensure uptime and stability. * Maintain, upgrade, and secure servers; manage system backups and disaster recovery. * Manage printers, desktops, and systems at onsite and branch locations. * Handle installation and maintenance of local software and ensure licensing compliance. * Perform system restores and serve as backup support for critical workflows. * Implement and document procedures, configurations, and restore points. User & Asset Support * Provide remote IT support and issue resolution for users across locations. * Manage system setup and onboarding for new employees, including user accounts and device provisioning. * Maintain access card systems and user control policies. * Plan for hardware/software additions, removals, and upgrades. * Maintain inventory of IT assets including hardware, software, and other supplies. --- Qualifications * Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field. * 4–6 years of experience in IT infrastructure and operations management. * Proficiency in network troubleshooting, system administration, and remote support tools. * Strong knowledge of licensing compliance, data security, and documentation practices. * Effective leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills. --- Preferred Qualifications: * Experience managing IT for multi-location businesses. * Familiarity with cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, or GCP). * Certifications such as ITIL, PMP, or CISSP are a plus.
