About the Role:

At WinZO, our iOS team powers the future of mobile gaming. An iOS developer is responsible for designing and developing applications for Apple devices, ensuring they are user-friendly, efficient, and meet rigorous quality standards. • Cutting-Edge iOS Applications:

  Contribute to the development and refinement of our iPhone and iPad apps, applying modern best practices to deliver seamless, high-impact experiences.

• Core Gaming Logic on iOS:

  Implement and optimize real-time game logic using WebSockets and Swift Concurrency, supporting millions of concurrent sessions at scale

  .

  Drive the integration and optimization of critical meta features, including LiveOps systems for dynamic content updates, real-time leaderboards, and complex in-app purchase (IAP) flows for currency and virtual goods, ensuring secure and high-conversion user experiences.

• Transmedia/Micro-drama Platform Integration:

  Deep expertise in developing custom video players (e.g., AVPlayer/AVFoundation, incorporating third-party SDKs) for high-quality, low-latency micro-drama streaming, including knowledge of HLS/DASH, DRM, and adaptive bitrate streaming (ABR) techniques.

• Robust, High-Performance Products:

  Deliver resilient, high-performing iOS builds, prioritizing both quality and efficiency to delight millions of users.

• Ownership and Scalability:

  Own features end-to-end, from prototyping in Xcode to production rollouts via TestFlight, shaping the platform’s growth and reliability.

What you will do:

• Design, build, and maintain high-performance iOS applications

  , applying established architectural patterns (e.g., MVVM with Combine, MVC) to ensure maintainable and testable codebases.

• Own feature development end to end

  , from gathering requirements and technical design (wireframes, API contracts) through implementation in Swift/Objective-C to App Store deployment via TestFlight.

• Scope projects and evaluate technical aspects

  , identifying performance bottlenecks (rendering, memory) and proposing optimal solutions such as diffable data sources or background threading.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams

  (product, design, QA, backend) to integrate UI components, network layers (URLSession), and ensure seamless end-to-end functionality.

• Mentor junior iOS developers

  , lead code reviews, run architecture deep-dives (e.g., SwiftUI adoption), and enforce best practices around code cleanliness and SOLID principles.

• Lead, manage and mentor cross-functional iOS teams

  in architecting and delivering enterprise-grade platforms, setting strategic direction for performance, security, and seamless user experiences.

• Implement comprehensive testing strategies

  , including unit tests with XCTest, UI tests with XCUITest, and continuous integration with Fastlane, to maintain code robustness.

Essential Skills:

• Advanced expertise in Swift and Objective-C, and deep understanding of the iOS runtime and view controller lifecycle.
• Proven proficiency implementing Apple frameworks (Combine, SwiftUI etc.) and applying design patterns (MVVM, Coordinator).
• Experience designing modular, scalable architectures following Clean Architecture and separation of concerns.
• Demonstrated success leading mid-sized projects, balancing code quality, performance, and business goals.
• Hands-on experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Bitrise, GitHub Actions) and profiling performance under heavy load.
• Deep experience with real-time communication protocols (e.g., WebSockets) to support high-scale social and live-ops features.
• Hands-on experience with video streaming and custom player development (e.g., AVFoundation, HLS/DASH) for high-quality, low-latency micro-drama content.
• Proficiency in implementing fluid UI/UX with complex animations and transitions using Core Animation or Lottie/Rive for dynamic in-app experiences.

Preferred Skills:

• Extensive experience structuring and scaling multiple iOS teams, defining role profiles, and conducting performance reviews focused on long-term growth.
• Recognized thought leadership through published technical articles, open-source projects, conference talks, or patents in mobile or gaming technology.
• Deep expertise integrating iOS apps with enterprise-scale backend systems, cloud platforms (AWS, GCP), and security frameworks for production-grade solutions.
• Hands-on experience with native performance tuning, including Metal, C/C++ integrations, and low-level optimizations for graphics and rendering.
