Role SummaryThe Cost Controller will play a key role in managing food costs, inventory controls, consumption patterns, and vendor pricing to support profitability across production units and retail outlets. The role requires strong analytical skills, accuracy, and a process-driven mindset. Key ResponsibilitiesMonitor daily raw material consumption, production yield, and wastage. Conduct periodic stock audits across kitchen, warehouse, and retail outlets. Maintain accurate inventory records and perform regular stock reconciliations. Track and control food cost percentages, variances, and consumption trends. Review and verify GRN, purchase orders, and vendor invoices. Collaborate with procurement to negotiate prices and evaluate vendor performance. Implement standard recipe costing and portion control systems. Prepare and present cost reports and analytical insights to management. Ensure compliance with internal controls, SOPs, and hygiene guidelines. RequirementsMinimum 2 years of experience in Cost Control / Inventory / Store Accounting roles in hospitality, QSR, bakery, or sweets production. Strong knowledge of inventory management, costing systems, and auditing practices. Proficiency in MS Excel; experience with POS / ERP / Inventory software is an advantage. Detail-oriented with excellent numerical accuracy. Background in Commerce / Accounting preferred.
