To design, develop, and optimize high-quality learning solutions (including AI-augmented and digital learning experiences) that enable employees to perform effectively and comply with organizational standards and business goals. The ideal candidate will combine instructional design expertise with familiarity with AI-enhanced learning tools and digital content development. The role demands strong communication, creativity, a strong aptitude for working with digital learning tools, and a passion for continuous learning.
JOB ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Conduct training needs analysis (TNA), collaborate with SMEs, and define learning requirements.
- Design and develop training programs and learning assets including e-learning modules, video tutorials, AI-integrated learning paths, interactive content, manuals, job-aids, microlearning, blended learning solutions.
- Build detailed instructional design plans: learning objectives, course flow, assessments, scenarios, learning paths, and evaluation mechanisms.
- Use modern tools/technologies for content creation, e.g. eLearning authoring tools, AI-enabled course creation tools, and multimedia tools.
- Develop assessments (quizzes, simulations, case studies), feedback mechanisms, and evaluation tools to measure learning effectiveness, retention, and performance.
- Continuously update and iterate existing training materials based on feedback, analytics, business changes, best practices, and new technologies.
- Work with trainers, quality teams, operations, and stakeholders to tailor training to diverse learner groups and roles.
- Collect and analyze training performance data, learner feedback, engagement metrics, and use them to drive improvements.
- Manage content lifecycle storyboarding, design, review, QA, version control, and deployment on LMS or learning platforms.
- Support onboarding new employees and ongoing upskilling for existing staff providing digital courses, job aids, and refresher modules.
- Establish and monitor learning KPIs, completion rates, assessment scores, engagement rates, retention, and business impact.
- Partner with LMS administrators / IT / digital-learning teams to ensure seamless delivery, tracking, and reporting.
- Facilitate “train-the-trainer” sessions, orientation sessions for new modules, and support trainers or SMEs in delivering content.
- Stay current with learning industry trends including AI-powered learning, microlearning, mobile learning, digital pedagogy and incorporate relevant innovations.
- Support cross-functional or special projects related to digital transformation, e-learning roll-out, microlearning initiatives, or AI-enabled learning interventions.

RELEVANT EXPERIENCE & EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor's degree in education, Instructional Design, Communication, Healthcare, HR, or any related field.
- Minimum
2+ years of experience in instructional design
, content development, or e-learning development. - Experience in US healthcare (preferred but can be adapted based on hiring needs).
- Expertise in creating structured, engaging, measurable instructional content.
- Experience working with SMEs, QA teams, and training operations.
- Certifications such as
Instructional Design, Train the Trainer (TTT), Learning & Development
, or equivalent are preferred. - Experience with
coding audit workflows or healthcare documentation
(optional based on hiring needs).
SKILLS & COMPETENCIES
- Deep knowledge of instructional design methodologies and adult learning theories, including
ADDIE, SAM, Bloom’s Taxonomy, and evaluation models
. - Ability to navigate Learning Management Systems (LMS) and digital learning platforms effectively.
- Proficiency in course development and eLearning authoring tools such as
Articulate Storyline, Rise 360, Adobe Captivate, Camtasia, Vyond
, or equivalent. - Strong capability to create high-quality
storyboards, scripts, visual layouts, and interactive assessments
. - Creativity and skill in designing engaging multimedia content interactive modules, videos, simulations, infographics, and microlearning.
- Excellent communication skills (written, verbal, and presentation) for collaborating with SMEs, stakeholders, and supporting train-the-trainer sessions.
- Strong project management, organizational, and prioritization skills to handle multiple learning initiatives.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret learner data, feedback, and performance metrics to drive continuous improvement.
- Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt to rapidly changing project needs.
- Ability to work independently with strong attention to detail over extended periods.
- Comfortable working in remote/hybrid environments and collaborating with cross-geography teams (India and global).
- Familiarity with virtual training platforms such as Zoom, Microsoft Teams, WebEx.
- Understanding accessibility standards (e.g., Section 508/WCAG) and inclusive design principles for diverse learners.
