Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for an Inside Sales Specialist based in Ahmedabad. The Inside Sales Specialist will be responsible for identifying and generating leads, managing customer interactions, addressing inquiries, and ensuring excellent customer satisfaction. The role involves maintaining communication with prospective and current clients, understanding their needs, and delivering tailored solutions to drive subscription growth and business success.


Key Responsibilities

Customer Interaction & Sales

  • Make outbound calls to leads from marketing, Weekday, referrals, and in-app enquiries.
  • Understand customer needs (parents’ concerns, children’s age groups, preferences).
  • Clearly explain our subscription plans, offerings, and the benefits of The Elefant Toy Library.
  • Conduct high-conversion sales calls and close monthly subscription deals.

Pipeline & Follow-Ups

  • Maintain and update lead tracking sheets/CRM.
  • Follow up consistently with warm and active leads.
  • Convert trial users into paid subscribers.

Customer Experience & Coordination

  • Assist parents in understanding how to use The Elefant app.
  • Provide product recommendations based on age, interest, and learning outcomes.
  • Coordinate with logistics and operations to ensure smooth onboarding of new subscribers.

Reporting & Targets

  • Achieve weekly and monthly sales targets.
  • Share daily sales updates, call logs, and lead status reports with the manager.
  • Share customer insights with marketing and product teams to improve user experience.

Who You Are (Ideal Candidate)

  • 0–3 years of experience in Inside Sales / Tele-Sales / Customer Care / Ed-tech sales.
  • Excellent communication skills in English & Hindi (bonus: Gujarati).
  • Confident, energetic, and great at understanding customer needs.
  • Comfortable speaking to parents and explaining subscription plans.
  • Target-driven and excited about incentives.
  • Basic tech/app understanding — comfortable using CRM tools & calling software.
  • Passionate about kids’ learning, early childhood development, or ed-tech (bonus!).
