Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Information Technology (IT) Operations Manager to lead and standardize our IT operations across the organization. The role involves managing daily IT operations, ensuring efficient service delivery, maintaining IT infrastructure, and driving compliance with security protocols and ISO documentation requirements. The role also includes development, customization, and maintenance of software solutions that support the operations. The IT Operations Manager will also play a key role in planning and executing IT projects, optimizing processes, and keeping our systems updated with the latest technological advancements. 

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage day-to-day IT operations, ensuring business continuity and efficiency. 
• Lead and mentor the IT team (5–10 members), fostering a high-performance culture. 
• Plan, implement, and monitor IT projects aligned with organizational goals. 
• Maintain and secure IT infrastructure, including systems, networks, and data. 
• Standardize IT operations across the organization and update SOPs regularly. 
• Lead the programming team in developing and maintaining intranet applications tailored for engineering workflows. 
• Collaborate with engineers and project teams to understand technical requirements and translate them into software solutions. 
• Ensure ISO documentation, IT compliance, and security protocols are consistently followed. 
• Monitor systems performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement preventive measures. 
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support business and engineering project needs. 
• Manage vendors, service providers, and licensing agreements to ensure SLA adherence. 
• Drive continuous process improvement and adoption of new technologies. 

Requirements

• Minimum 10 years of experience in IT operations, with proven experience as an IT Manager. 
• Experience in managing IT teams (5–10 members) effectively. 
• Strong expertise in IT operations, IT service management, and technical support. 
• Strong knowledge of programming languages and frameworks (Python, C#, .NET, JavaScript, VBA, SQL). 
• Solid understanding of IT security, compliance, and ISO standards. 
• Excellent leadership, team management, and decision-making skills. 
• Strong problem-solving, troubleshooting, and process optimization abilities. 
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills for stakeholder collaboration. 
• Proficiency in IT project management and documentation. 
• Exposure to engineering, construction, or design-based industries will be an added advantage. 

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (Master’s preferred). 
• Professional certifications in ITIL, ISO, Cloud Platforms (AWS, Azure), or Cybersecurity will be a plus.
