Industrial Cybersecurity Lead
to protect and enhance the security posture of our Operational Technology (OT) and industrial control environments. This role is ideal for a cybersecurity professional who thrives at the intersection of IT and OT, ensuring that critical infrastructure remains secure, resilient, and compliant. You will lead initiatives to identify vulnerabilities, implement preventive controls, and maintain a robust industrial cybersecurity program aligned with global standards.Key Responsibilities
Develop and execute a strategic cybersecurity roadmap for industrial systems, aligning with business and operational goals.Conduct risk and vulnerability assessments tailored to OT environments, identifying threats and implementing effective mitigation strategies.Monitor, detect, and respond to security incidents within OT systems, performing root cause analysis and ensuring timely remediation.Collaborate with IT, engineering, and operations teams to integrate cybersecurity controls without disrupting industrial processes.Establish, enforce, and continuously improve industrial security policies, procedures, and standards in line with IEC 62443, NIST, ISO 27001, and other industry regulations.Lead training and awareness programs for operational staff to strengthen understanding of industrial cybersecurity risks.Manage and optimize OT security tools, including SCADA/DCS security, network segmentation, firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, and endpoint protection.Provide guidance on secure design, deployment, and operation of industrial systems, including PLCs, DCS, SCADA, and IoT devices.Stay updated on emerging threats, vulnerabilities, and best practices in industrial cybersecurity.Conduct audits, compliance checks, and prepare reports for senior management to ensure OT system resilience.Required Skills & Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, IT, Computer Science, or related field. Advanced certifications such as CISSP, CISM, GICSP
, or equivalent are highly desirable.4–8 years of experience in industrial cybersecurity, ICS security, or OT security roles
.Strong understanding of OT-specific security concepts, including network segmentation, industrial protocol security, and secure remote access.Hands-on experience with SCADA, DCS, PLCs, firewalls, and OT-specific intrusion detection/prevention systems.Proven expertise in risk assessment, incident response, vulnerability management, and regulatory compliance within OT/ICS environments.Familiarity with standards such as IEC 62443, NIST CSF, ISO 27001
, and relevant industrial regulatory frameworks.Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, capable of translating technical issues to business stakeholders.Strong leadership skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across IT, engineering, and operational teams.Core Competencies
