Job description As Service Engineer Software support for the west region Pune area, you will have to support our software solutions and projects for our customers in India. You will be part of the Service Business Line and support our Industrial Technique Divisions Motor Vehicle Industry (MVI) and General Industry (GI). We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated software technician who can support the installation and configuration of complex production systems and who is able to provide a profound technical analysis of the installed solutions in case of malfunction. Role & responsibilities : On-site installation, commissioning, and testing of wire and cable manufacturing machinery, including: Extrusion lines: PVC, Teflon, PTFE, Silicone, XLPE Bunching machines RBD and intermediate wire drawing machines Injection molding machines Configure and calibrate PLC, HMI, and SCADA systems Coordinate with electrical teams for power connections, load balancing, and setup of control panels Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues during or post-installation Provide client training on operation and routine maintenance Maintain detailed service records and installation reports Assist in developing SOPs and wiring schematics Preferred candidate profile : Diploma / B.Tech in Electrical, Electronics, Mechatronics, or Industrial Automation Certification in PLC or Industrial Automation preferred Minimum 2 years of field installation or industrial service experience Perks and benefits : Work with a leading name in wire & cable manufacturing equipment Exposure to international standards and global clientele Growth-oriented, fast-paced work environment Opportunity to work across multiple technologies and machine types
