Role Description

We are looking for an Implementation Specialist with strong expertise in installing, configuring, and optimizing a range of security solutions. This role is hands-on and requires deep technical knowledge of firewalls, IDS/IPS systems, SIEM tools, endpoint detection platforms, and related cybersecurity infrastructure. Your work will directly contribute to building a secure and resilient IT environment.

Key Responsibilities

Install and configure network firewalls (e.g., pfSense, Fortinet, Cisco ASA) to enforce perimeter security and access controls.
Deploy and tune intrusion detection/prevention systems such as Snort, Suricata, or equivalent.
Set up and manage SIEM platforms (e.g., Wazuh, ELK Stack, or Splunk) for centralized log management and threat correlation.
Install and configure endpoint detection and response (EDR) tools, host-based firewalls, and file integrity monitoring agents.
Integrate and test security solutions to ensure compatibility across the infrastructure.
Optimize performance and detection capabilities through rule tuning, policy adjustments, and alert filtering.
Maintain clear documentation of all configurations, changes, and standard operating procedures.
Collaborate with IT and security teams to ensure smooth deployment and minimal downtime.
Provide technical support during rollout, upgrades, and post-installation troubleshooting.

Required Qualification

Hands-on experience in installing and configuring:-
Network firewalls (e.g., pfSense, Fortinet, Cisco, Palo Alto)
IDS/IPS tools like Snort or Suricata
SIEM systems, preferably Wazuh or open-source stacks (ELK)
Proficient in Linux system administration and scripting (Bash, Python preferred).
Solid understanding of networking, TCP/IP, and security protocols.
Familiarity with log formats, detection rule creation, and fine-tuning alerts.
