Human Resources Manager

As a Personnel & Admin Manager at Zenith Steel Pipes & Industries Limited, your role will be vital in overseeing all HR, industrial relations, and administrative functions to ensure compliance, smooth plant operations, and a motivated workforce aligned with company goals. Key Responsibilities: - Lead the recruitment process including sourcing, interviewing, onboarding, and induction - Manage the employee lifecycle by handling transfers, promotions, exits, and retention strategies - Drive performance management, appraisal systems, and training initiatives - Ensure compliance with labor laws and manage statutory filings such as PF, ESI, gratuity, and bonus - Handle disciplinary actions, grievance redressal, and employee engagement programs - Maintain accurate HR records and reports for audits and management review Industrial Relations: - Liaise with workers, unions, and labor authorities professionally - Ensure compliance with the Factories Act, Industrial Disputes Act, and other labor legislations - Support management in negotiations and fostering harmonious employee relations Administration: - Oversee security, housekeeping, transport, and facility management - Manage vendor contracts and service providers focusing on cost control and efficiency - Handle guest house, accommodation, and welfare facilities for employees/workers - Ensure workplace safety, statutory inspections, and smooth day-to-day operations - Support senior management with communication, travel, and reporting requirements Desired Candidate Profile: - Graduate/Postgraduate in HR, Personnel Management, or Business Administration - 5-12 years of HR & administration experience, preferably in a manufacturing/industrial plant - Strong understanding of factories act, labor laws, industrial relations, and compliance - Excellent communication skills in Tamil & English; knowledge of Hindi is an added advantage - Proven leadership, problem-solving, and conflict-resolution skills - Ability to balance management expectations with employee needs Zenith Steel Pipes & Industries Limited offers an attractive and competitive salary package, statutory benefits, and accommodation for the right candidate.
