As a Personnel & Admin Manager at Zenith Steel Pipes & Industries Limited, your role is crucial in overseeing all HR, industrial relations, and administrative functions to ensure compliance, smooth plant operations, and a motivated workforce aligned with company goals. Key Responsibilities: - Lead the recruitment process, including sourcing, interviewing, onboarding, and induction of new employees. - Manage the employee lifecycle, including transfers, promotions, exits, and retention strategies. - Drive performance management, appraisal systems, and training initiatives for continuous employee growth. - Ensure compliance with labor laws and statutory filings such as PF, ESI, gratuity, and bonus. - Handle disciplinary actions, grievance redressal, and employee engagement programs effectively. - Maintain accurate HR records and reports for audits and management reviews. - Liaise with workers, unions, and labor authorities to foster harmonious employee relations. - Oversee security, housekeeping, transport, and facility management for smooth operations. - Manage vendor contracts and service providers with a focus on cost control and efficiency. - Ensure workplace safety, statutory inspections, and day-to-day operations run smoothly. Qualifications Required: - Graduation or Postgraduation in HR, Personnel Management, or Business Administration. - 5-12 years of experience in HR & administration, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial plant. - Strong understanding of factories act, labor laws, industrial relations, and compliance. - Excellent communication skills in Tamil and English; knowledge of Hindi is an added advantage. - Proven leadership, problem-solving, and conflict-resolution skills.
