Job Summary:

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Assistant Manager - Human Resources to join our team in Gurugram. The ideal candidate will be responsible for handling end-to-end HR functions, including recruitment, employee engagement, performance management, and compliance. This role requires a proactive HR professional with strong interpersonal and organizational skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Talent Acquisition & Recruitment:
  • Manage the full recruitment lifecycle, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and onboarding.
  • Collaborate with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and ensure timely hiring.
  • Employee Relations & Engagement:
  • Drive employee engagement initiatives, including team-building activities and well-being programs.
  • Address employee grievances and ensure a positive workplace environment.
  • Performance Management:
  • Implement and manage the performance appraisal process.
  • Work with department heads to set performance goals and track employee progress.
  • HR Policies & Compliance:
  • Ensure compliance with labor laws and company policies.
  • Develop and update HR policies and procedures as per industry best practices.
  • Training & Development:
  • Identify training needs and coordinate learning & development programs.
  • Conduct onboarding sessions and employee orientation programs.
  • Payroll & Compensation Management:
  • Support payroll processing and maintain attendance & leave records.
  • Handle employee benefits and compensation-related queries.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's/Master’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 3-6 years of HR experience in a corporate environment, preferably in the energy, manufacturing, or related sector.
  • Strong knowledge of HR policies, labor laws, and compliance.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in HRMS tools and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Ability to handle multiple HR functions efficiently and work in a fast-paced environment.
