Act as a ‘trusted advisor’ responsible for coaching and advising leadership on business HR matters and act as a conduit between the business and the other services offered within HR (i.e. Recruitment, Employee Relations, Learning and Development, Compensation & Benefits, Performance Management). Be a consultant to the business to recommend new approaches, policies, ways to effect continual improvement aligned to business objectives, productivity, and development.
Key Responsibilities
- Own the Performance Management process end to end and facilitate a Performance Excellence culture. Lead the org-wide processes of Performance Appraisal, Goal Setting and having continuous performance conversations.
- Partner with the leadership team to drive the performance up by several notches and ensure all employees are delivering their best. Use feedback mechanisms and motivation concepts to ensure each individual overdelivers.
- Facilitate Developmental interventions where required through IDP s and focus plans. Provide inputs to the COEs where organization wide skill building would be required.
- Design and implement programs to engage and develop critical talent groups such as high performers, niche skills and subject matter experts.
- Craft the policies and processes in order to put Vivriti in the league of Best Employers. Manage Change constantly to bring about positive changes in the organization environment.
- Design the Employee Engagement Strategy and roll out calendarized Engagement charter to ensure employees feel pride of their association with Vivriti and look forward to come to work. Including showcase events, offsites, fun at work activities, sports leagues, etc.
- Devise and implement need based and function/team-specific engagement programs.
- Constantly scan and benchmark HR Best practices, craft specific initiatives which will create impact for the organization.
- Conduct engagement surveys and coordinate Focus Group Discussions on a need basis, in order to gauge employee perceptions & opinions to deliver credible insights to business leadership
- Lead the Rewards and Recognition systems and own it end to end. Take charge of the R&R strategy, Design of the framework and own Develop and support the implementation of reward and recognition mechanisms.
- Spot early warning signals and organization health derailers. Arrest attrition, promote retention, have a check on the pulse of the organization constantly. Review staffing and attrition trends and make appropriate recommendations to management based on collected data and observations.
- Be the face of the HR Function. Establish excellent rapport with stakeholders and employees. Drive HR initiatives and ensure success.
- Proactively Brand and Market the good practices and create a powerful Employer Brand. Constantly strengthen our Employee Value Proposition.
- Enable the DEI strategy through women focused initiatives.
- Execute as needed the Talent Management strategy as designed by the COE.
- Further inter-functional collaboration with other functions such as Marketing, Compliance, ESG, Technology, etc as required.
- Manage Employee Relations and facilitate conflict management, grievance redressal, POSH, etc. Ensure concerns are thoroughly investigated and resolved in a timely manner, ensuring compliance with appropriate disciplinary procedures.
What you will bring
- MBA with minimum 8 - 12 years of experience as HR Business Partner with a Startup / IT / Technology organization (Preferred)
- Strong business and HR acumen, including the ability to diagnose and analyse problems and drive appropriate solutions.
- Proven successful track record and knowledge in organizational and employee development, performance management, people relations, and change management.
- Data-oriented decision-maker.
- Decisive leadership and the courage to propose solutions others are reluctant to address, act in the face of resistance for the best interests of the business.
- Extensive capacity to influence business leaders, organizational agility and savvy.
- Enthusiastic teammate with a demonstrated commitment to creating a positive work environment.
