Role Overview

Key Responsibilities1. HR Operations & Compliance

  • Maintain accurate employee records and HR documentation (contracts, NDAs, personal files).
  • Track attendance, leave management, and punctuality systems.
  • Coordinate payroll inputs and statutory compliance (PF, ESI, TDS, gratuity, etc.).
  • Draft, update, and implement HR policies and the employee handbook.
  • Ensure legal and regulatory compliance in HR practices.

2. Talent Acquisition & Onboarding

  • Design job descriptions in consultation with leadership.
  • Manage the recruitment cycle: sourcing, screening, interview coordination, and offers.
  • Implement onboarding and induction programmes for employees and interns.
  • Build and maintain a candidate database for future hiring.

3. Employee Engagement & Development

  • Organise team-building activities, cultural programmes, and employee engagement initiatives.
  • Conduct regular check-ins and surveys to better understand the needs and concerns of employees.
  • Coordinate training and development opportunities with internal/external experts.
  • Promote a positive, inclusive, and motivating workplace culture.

4. Performance Management

  • Track probation periods and ensure timely confirmations.
  • Support in setting up KRAs/OKRs for employees in coordination with managers
  • Develop simple appraisal templates and feedback systems.
  • Maintain transparency in performance reviews, promotions, and increments.

5. Accounts Support

  • Record and track employee reimbursements, vendor invoices, and office purchases.
  • Support payroll preparation and salary disbursement.
  • Generate monthly expense and budget summary reports.
  • Maintain digital records for audit and compliance purposes.

Qualifications & Skills

  • The candidate should possess a Bachelor's degree, with an MBA or PGDM in HR being preferred.
  • 0–2 years of HR experience (freshers with strong internship experience may apply).
  • Basic knowledge of

    accounting software (Zoho Books preferred)

  • The candidate should possess strong communication skills in both English and Malayalam.
  • Strong organisational, multitasking, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proactive, empathetic, and detail-orientated.
