Human Resources Analyst

About the Role:

Tanla is looking for an HR Analyst who will be responsible for the Onboarding and MIS processes for new employees. The purpose of this role is to serve as the point of contact for all new colleagues and to create a positive onboarding experience through understanding problems, communicating promptly on progress, and engaging employees with a courteous and professional attitude.

What You’ll Be Responsible For:

• Provide support to HR operations
• Attendance updates
• Responsible for data management, presentations, buddy emails, joining kit distribution, and joining alert communication to stakeholders for a smooth onboarding process
• Pre-onboarding follow-ups and business communication on new joiners
• HRMS updates
• Data ownership, MIS, and reporting to the respective business managers
• Managing insurance, bank accounts, and other benefits for new joiners
• Conducting onboarding and departmental induction – cross-functional
• Handling employee offer management
• Analyzing and verifying documents received from prospective employees to confirm identity
• Identifying and resolving deficiencies to complete onboarding within pre-defined SLAs
• Coordinating with external vendors (business partners, background verification agencies, vendor management organizations, procurement teams) to complete statutory requirements per organizational policies
• Coordinating with internal teams to ensure timely task completion
• Participating in internal audits

What You’d Have:

• MBA post-graduate with a decent academic pedigree
• 1+ years hands-on experience with Excel: Pivot tables, VLOOKUP, general calculations, and formulas
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to interact with employees and vendors
• Persuasive and goal-oriented mindset
• Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Excel)
