Role Overview

Key Responsibilities

Recruitment & Workforce Planning

Manage recruitment for staff, supervisors, and workers.
Plan manpower as per production schedules.
Coordinate with labor contractors and suppliers.

Employee Relations & Engagement

Act as the bridge between employees and management.
Handle grievances, discipline, and industrial relations.
Implement engagement initiatives to improve retention.

Compliance & Legal

Ensure compliance with labor laws, Factories Act, PF, ESI, and gratuity.
Maintain statutory records and liaise with authorities.
Manage buyer audits and social compliance requirements.

Training & Development

Conduct induction and orientation programs.
Organize training and skill-building sessions.
Support continuous learning and development.

Performance & Productivity

Implement appraisal and feedback systems.
Track absenteeism, turnover, and workforce efficiency.
Partner with production teams to improve performance.

Payroll & Administration

Oversee attendance, payroll, overtime, and deductions.
Ensure timely and accurate salary distribution.
Manage welfare facilities such as canteen, hostel, and transport.

Health, Safety & Welfare

Ensure compliance with safety and health standards.
Oversee workplace welfare and well-being initiatives.
