Key Responsibilities: 🛡️ Statutory HR Compliance & Labour Law Management Ensure compliance with statutory provisions under the Factories Act, Minimum Wages Act, Payment of Wages Act, Bonus Act, Gratuity Act, EPF Act, ESI Act, and other applicable laws. Maintain mandatory registers and returns as per local/state/factory labour laws. Coordinate and prepare for inspections from the Labour Department, EPFO, ESI, and other statutory bodies. File monthly, quarterly, and annual statutory returns through relevant government portals. 🏭 Factory Administration Oversee general administration functions at the factory level including security, housekeeping, transport, and facility management. Monitor maintenance of factory licenses and statutory registrations (Factories License, Fire License, Pollution Board NOC, etc.). Coordinate with external vendors, facility contractors, and service providers. Ensure compliance with safety, health, and welfare measures as mandated under the Factories Act. 📑 Government Schemes Implementation Samarth (Skill Development in Textiles): Handle candidate enrollment, biometric attendance, training schedules, and portal submissions. Maintain training infrastructure compliance and batch-wise reports. NAPS (National Apprenticeship Promotion Scheme): Register establishments and apprentices on the NAPS portal. Execute apprenticeship contracts and track performance and stipend disbursement. Coordinate with apprenticeship officers and DGT representatives. NATS (National Apprenticeship Training Scheme): Onboard diploma and graduate apprentices in line with BOAT guidelines. Submit attendance and reimbursement claims in the NATS portal. ⚖️ Legal Compliance Ensure timely renewal of factory licenses and compliance with local municipal and industrial regulations. Maintain updated documentation for all legal and administrative audits. Liaise with legal advisors on labour disputes, contract management, and employment law compliance. Ensure legal compliance in contract labour management (CLRA Act), vendor agreements, and outsourcing. 👥 Coordination & Documentation Maintain employee records including joining formalities, statutory forms, contracts, and leaves. Generate HR and compliance-related MIS reports for management review. Act as liaison between factory management, external agencies, and government departments. Conduct awareness sessions for workers and apprentices on rights, responsibilities, and safety norms. Key Skills Required: Strong knowledge of labour laws, industrial relations, and government employment schemes. Hands-on experience with compliance portals: EPFO, ESIC, Shram Suvidha, NAPS, NATS, Samarth. Good administrative and people management skills. Strong verbal and written communication in English and local language (Tamil preferred). Proficiency in Tally, MS Office (especially Excel), and documentation tools. Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in commerce, Law, or Human Resources. PG Diploma in Labour Law/Industrial Relations preferred. 3–6 years of experience in factory HR, administration, and legal compliance. Show more Show less
