We are seeking an experienced and hands-on HR Manager to lead end-to-end HR functions for our organization. The role requires strong exposure to the manufacturing/garment industry, with the ability to manage both blue-collar and white-collar workforce. The ideal candidate will play a key role in talent acquisition, compliance, employee engagement, and building a performance-driven work culture.
Manpower planning in coordination with business heads across Design, Production, Sales, Accounts, Dispatch, Merchandising, and Stitching.
End-to-end recruitment including sourcing, screening, interviews, reference checks, and offer rollouts.
Build and maintain a strong talent pipeline for critical roles such as designers, merchandisers, supervisors, accountants, and sales professionals.
Ensure smooth onboarding and induction of new employees.
Design and implement a robust Performance Management System (PMS) with KPIs, goal-setting, and appraisal frameworks.
Drive quarterly and annual performance reviews and feedback processes.
Identify high-potential employees and create career progression plans.
Manage Performance Improvement Plans (PIP) where required.
Manage accurate and timely monthly payroll processing.
Coordinate with Accounts for salary disbursement, incentives, and statutory deductions.
Maintain attendance, leave records, overtime, and shift policies.
Ensure full statutory compliance including PF, ESIC, Bonus, Gratuity, Labour Laws, and Shops & Establishment Act.
Liaise with consultants and auditors for HR and labour compliances.
Plan and execute employee engagement initiatives such as festivals, birthdays, annual events, and team outings.
Organize health, wellness, and fitness programs.
Conduct employee feedback surveys and exit interviews.
Act as a bridge between management and employees to address grievances and concerns.
Build a disciplined, values-driven, and performance-oriented work culture.
Promote accountability, transparency, and ethical work practices.
Support leadership in reinforcing company vision, mission, and values.
Ensure effective cultural integration of new hires.
Develop, implement, and regularly update HR policies, SOPs, and employee handbook.
Introduce best HR practices aligned with industry benchmarks.
Drive digitization of HR processes including HRMS, attendance systems, and documentation.
Ensure fair and consistent policy implementation across departments.
Maintain accurate employee records and documentation.
Handle disciplinary actions, warnings, and policy violations professionally.
Support organizational restructuring and workforce optimization initiatives.
Assist in succession planning and organizational development activities.
Strong understanding of HR operations in the manufacturing / garment industry.
Proven experience in recruitment, payroll, statutory compliance, and employee engagement.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to manage both blue-collar and white-collar employees.
