Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced HR professional to lead and elevate HR operations across our publishing division and affiliated schools. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in recruitment, HR systems, employee development, and strategic planning.

This role is critical in shaping company culture, building scalable HR frameworks, and driving future growth. The selected individual should be willing to travel regularly during the initial 1–2 months to engage with senior management, understand the company’s culture and vision, and align HR practices accordingly.

Key Responsibilities1. HR Strategy & Systems Development

  • Design and implement scalable HR systems and SOPs across all verticals.
  • Develop and execute HR strategies aligned with the company’s long-term goals.
  • Oversee end-to-end HR operations and ensure regulatory compliance.

2. Recruitment & Talent Acquisition

  • Lead recruitment for teaching, administrative, and corporate roles.
  • Act as a recruitment specialist, attracting top-tier talent through innovative hiring strategies.
  • Conduct interviews, assessments, and ensure efficient hiring processes.

3. Employee Engagement, Growth & Retention

  • Plan and execute employee engagement and wellness initiatives.
  • Develop career growth plans and structured learning programs.
  • Foster a positive and collaborative workplace culture.

4. Performance Management

  • Drive the performance appraisal process and encourage a feedback-driven culture.
  • Manage reward and recognition systems to retain high-performing employees.

5. Compensation & Payroll

  • Oversee payroll processing and design competitive compensation packages.
  • Ensure accuracy, timeliness, and compliance in salary and benefits administration.

6. Training & Onboarding

  • Identify training needs and implement professional development programs.
  • Lead onboarding and orientation programs for new employees.

Key Requirements

  • Master’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 8–10 years of HR leadership experience, preferably in education or publishing sectors.
  • Proven expertise in recruitment, HR system development, and team management.
  • Experience managing teams of 300+ employees.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
  • Willingness to travel during the initial months as needed.
