HR Specialist

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Human Resource Specialist to join our team. This is a sole HR role where the selected candidate will be responsible for independently managing the end-to-end HR function of the organization. The role requires a self-driven professional who can take initiatives, establish processes, and handle all HR activities including recruitment, payroll and compliance, policy implementation and culture building.

Location: All Kolkata outlets

Reports to: Operations Director

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Talent Acquisition and Onboarding

· Develop and execute recruitment strategies to attract skilled baristas and cafe staff, manage candidate selection, and ensure a smooth, welcoming onboarding process.

Payroll and Statutory Compliance

· Oversee timely and accurate payroll processing

· Ensuring compliance with statutory requirements including PF and ESIC staff enrolments

· Maintain up-to-date report and handle audits related to payroll and statutory obligations

Policy Formulation and Implementation

· Develop, implement, and communicate HR policies and procedures in line with labor laws and company objectives.

· Ensure compliance with all employment regulations in the hospitality industry.

Employee Relations and Conflict Management

· Serve as a point of contact for employee queries related to policies

· Conduct investigation into employee complaints and recommend appropriate actions

· Foster a positive and collaborative workplace culture and take initiatives to boost initiatives to boost morale and retention

General HR Administrations

· Timely and accurate update of employee records, ensuring confidentiality

REQUIREMENTS AND SKILLS:

· Minimum 2 year of experience in similar role, preferably in F&B sector

· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

· Strong organisational and multitasking skills

· Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and integrity

· Knowledge of labour laws and statutory compliance

· Must be able to work on weekends and six days a week

· Need to focus on all our outlets across Kolkata

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
