Job Description

1. JOB PURPOSE

The role is responsible for the development, validation, deployment, and ongoing maintenance of HR and payroll reports and dashboards across GCC operations, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and timely availability of information to HR and business stakeholders.

The role requires strong hands-on expertise in Power BI, including data modelling, report development, deployment, refresh management, performance optimisation, and access control, along with exposure to Tableau and other modern reporting platforms.

The role leverages AI-enabled capabilities and automation tools to enhance data preparation, report generation, interpretation, and usability, helping stakeholders identify operational gaps, inefficiencies, risk areas, and improvement opportunities across HR operations.

The role supports HR Managers and HR Shared Services teams by providing clear, actionable reporting views that enable performance monitoring and corrective action within their respective areas.

The role works closely with HR Shared Services Manager and HRIS Specialist to ensure data reporting data consistency and accuracy across systems, continuous enhancement of reporting outputs, and effective use of modern tools and AI-assisted features.

2. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS/EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE/TRAINING/KNOWLEDGE

1. Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Commerce or Computer Science.

2. Minimum 5 years of experience in HR reporting, MIS, or business reporting roles.

3. Strong hands-on experience in Power BI development (Power Query, DAX, data models, dashboards, deployment).

4. Working experience with Tableau or similar reporting platforms.

5. Experience handling data from SAP HCM / SAP Payroll, HR applications, and Excel-based sources.

6. Practical experience using AI-assisted tools to improve data preparation, reporting efficiency, interpretation, and presentation.

7. Strong understanding of data validation, reconciliation, and reporting controls.

8. Advanced MS Excel skills.

9. Good communication and documentation skills.

3. COMMUNICATION AND WORKING RELATIONSHIPS

3.1. Immediate Supervisor - Supports standardised HR and payroll reporting, dashboards, and management information for reviews, audits, and operational governance.

3.2. HR Manager - Supports HR Managers with reports, dashboards, and AI-assisted views that help track performance, compliance, and improvement opportunities within their business units.

4. KEY DIMENSIONS AND RELATED JOB RESULTS

4.1. Power BI & Dashboard Development

4.1.1.Design, build, and deploy Power BI dashboards for HR and payroll reporting.

4.1.2.Manage datasets, refresh schedules, workspaces, access controls, and performance tuning.

4.1.3.Develop structured dashboards that highlight exceptions, deviations, and focus areas.

4.1.4.Maintain dashboard documentation and usage guides.

4.2. AI-Enabled Reporting & Automation

4.2.1.Use AI-enabled features and tools to automate data preparation, validation, and report refresh processes.

4.2.2.Apply AI-assisted capabilities to identify patterns, anomalies, and improvement areas in HR and payroll data.

4.2.3.Enhance dashboards with smart narratives, summaries, and guided insights to improve understanding by stakeholders.

4.2.4.Continuously evaluate and adopt new AI and automation features to improve reporting efficiency and quality. (Note: AI usage is focused on efficiency, accuracy, and interpretation — not decision ownership.)

4.3. HR & Payroll Reporting (GCC)

4.3.1.Develop, validate, and maintain HR and payroll reports across GCC operations.

4.3.2.Ensure consistency of reporting outputs across SAP, HR applications, and Excel-based sources.

4.3.3.Prepare standard monthly, quarterly, and ad-hoc MIS reports.

4.3.4.Maintain report archives, version control, and documentation.

4.4. Data Validation, Controls & Reconciliations

4.4.1.Perform reconciliation checks between SAP, HR systems, payroll outputs, and reports.

4.4.2.Validate headcount, cost, leave, settlement, and compliance-related data.

4.4.3.Identify data gaps or inconsistencies and coordinate resolution with HRIS and HRSS teams.

4.4.4.Support audits through accurate data extracts and schedules.

4.5. SLA, TAT & Performance Reporting

4.5.1.Prepare SLA and TAT monitoring reports for HR and payroll transactions.

4.5.2.Highlight delays, exceptions, and risks for follow-up by HR Shared Services teams.

4.5.3.Support review meetings with structured performance dashboards.

4.6. Collaboration & Continuous Improvement

4.6.1.Work closely with HRIS Specialist to align reports with system logic and configuration.

4.6.2.Support HR Managers in understanding and using reports effectively.

4.6.3.Participate in HR Shared Services reporting standardisation and improvement initiatives.

5. OPERATING ENVIRONMENT

5.1. High-paced, multi-country shared services environment with large HR and payroll datasets.

5.2. Requires strong coordination with HRIS, Payroll, HRSS, and HR Managers across GCC.

5.3. Deadline-driven role with high emphasis on accuracy, consistency, and reliability.

5.4. Ability to manage multiple reporting priorities simultaneously.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹600,000.00 - ₹700,000.00 per year
