Key Responsibilities

Manage and execute background verification processes for new hires and ex-employees, including education, employment history, address, criminal record, and reference checks.
Liaise with third-party verification agencies and internal departments to collect and validate required documents.
Ensure timely initiation, tracking, and closure of all verification cases within defined TATs (Turn-Around Times).
Review verification reports, highlight discrepancies, and coordinate with relevant stakeholders for resolution.

Maintain accurate and secure records of verification data in accordance with data privacy laws. Provide regular status updates and reports to HRBPs.

Support audit requirements by ensuring process documentation and compliance.
Handle escalation cases, such as adverse findings, with professionalism and confidentiality.
Maintain and publish regular BGC dashboards.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

3–5 years of experience in employee background verification, HR operations.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills for liaising with internal teams and external vendors.
Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, and HR databases.
Ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously and meet strict deadlines.
Experience working with background verification tools, vendors and portals
