Job Description

We are seeking an experienced HR Manager to join our client’s operations in Angola.

HR Manager will have to relocate to Angola, it's an onsite job.

This is a contract-based role with a highly competitive in-hand salary and comprehensive on-site benefits. The HR Manager will play a critical role in overseeing all aspects of human resources, from talent acquisition to employee relations, ensuring a compliant, productive, and motivated workforce.

Key Responsibilities

  • Recruitment & Staffing: Lead end-to-end recruitment for local and expatriate staff, including job postings, screening, interviews, onboarding, and workforce planning.
  • Employee Relations: Build strong relationships with employees at all levels, address grievances, resolve conflicts, and maintain a positive work environment.
  • Performance Management: Implement performance evaluation systems, monitor KPIs, and support managers with employee development and appraisal processes.
  • HR Policy & Compliance: Ensure HR policies comply with Angolan labor laws and international best practices. Draft, update, and enforce HR procedures.
  • Training & Development: Identify training needs, organize learning programs, and foster continuous employee growth.
  • Compensation & Benefits: Manage payroll, benefits administration, and ensure timely salary disbursements.
  • Workforce Management: Develop strategies for employee retention, engagement, and succession planning.
  • Health, Safety & Welfare: Support workplace health and safety initiatives, monitor staff welfare, and coordinate with relevant authorities.
  • HR Reporting: Provide management with regular reports on workforce metrics, turnover, and staffing needs.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (Master’s preferred).
  • 4+ years of progressive HR experience, including at least 3 years in a managerial role.
  • Strong knowledge of HR practices, labor law, and compliance (international or Africa/Angola experience is a plus).
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and conflict resolution skills.
  • Ability to adapt in a multicultural environment and manage diverse teams.
  • Strong organizational and decision-making skills.
  • Proficiency in English (Portuguese is an advantage).

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹70,000.00 - ₹80,000.00 per month
