LOCATION : CUTTACK , ODISHA Position Overview: The HR Manager will be responsible for handling end-to-end HR operations, employee relations, recruitment, compliance, and staff welfare for all restaurant outlets under the company. The role demands strong leadership, communication, and people management skills, along with regular outlet visits to ensure smooth HR functioning, discipline, and staff satisfaction. Key Responsibilities:1. Recruitment & Staffing Manage the full recruitment cycle — from manpower planning, sourcing, screening, and interviewing to onboarding. Coordinate with outlet managers to understand staffing needs and maintain optimum manpower strength. Organize induction programs for new employees and ensure smooth joining formalities. 2. HR Operations & Administration Maintain employee records, attendance, leave data, and personal files. Prepare and process payroll with accuracy and compliance. Ensure adherence to company HR policies and standard operating procedures across outlets. Monitor punctuality, grooming, and discipline of all restaurant staff. 3. Employee Relations & Grievance Control Act as a bridge between management and employees to maintain a healthy work culture. Regularly visit outlets to interact with staff, understand concerns, and resolve grievances promptly. Counsel employees on workplace behavior, performance, or interpersonal conflicts. Take disciplinary action where required, ensuring fairness and compliance with company policy. Build trust among staff through transparent communication and employee engagement activities. 4. Outlet Visits & HR Audits Conduct regular outlet visits to assess staff performance, attendance, grooming, and adherence to HR policies. Identify operational or behavioral issues at the outlet level and report findings to senior management. Provide on-ground HR support during busy hours, staff shortages, or urgent employee concerns. Ensure uniformity in HR standards across all restaurant branches. 5. Training & Development Identify training needs based on performance and outlet feedback. Conduct sessions on grooming, hygiene, communication, and teamwork. Monitor training effectiveness and maintain skill development records. 6. Compliance & Legal Responsibilities Ensure statutory compliance with PF, ESIC, Gratuity, Minimum Wages Act, and other labor laws. Maintain up-to-date documentation for inspections and audits. Prepare HR reports and share regular MIS updates with management. 7. Performance Management Implement appraisal systems and evaluate staff performance periodically. Recommend promotions, transfers, or disciplinary actions as needed. Develop retention strategies and employee motivation initiatives. Desired Skills & Qualifications: Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Human Resource Management or related field. Minimum 6–7 years of HR experience , preferably in the readymate garments industry Strong understanding of labor laws, compliance, payroll, and manpower planning. Excellent communication, leadership, and conflict management skills. Must be proactive, field-oriented, and comfortable with frequent outlet visits. Proficient in MS Office and HR management software.
