About the Role Phoenix Electrical is looking for a dynamic and proactive HR Recruiter who will primarily focus on 80% recruitment for positions such as Electrical Engineers, Diploma/ITI Freshers, and technical roles. The remaining responsibilities (20%) will include HR generalist activities such as policy support, attendance & leave management, basic payroll coordination, compliance support, and college tie-ups. The ideal candidate should be highly skilled in sourcing, market understanding, campus hiring, and end-to-end recruitment operations. ⸻ Key Responsibilities 1. Recruitment (Primary – 80%) • Handle end-to-end recruitment for technical positions including Electrical Engineers, Diploma, and ITI candidates. • Understand manpower requirements from department heads and prepare detailed JDs. • Source candidates through job portals, social media, databases, references, and field sourcing when needed. • Conduct screening, telephonic interviews, scheduling, and coordination with hiring managers. • Maintain candidate pipelines and track recruitment metrics. • Handle campus recruitment for ITI and Diploma colleges; build and maintain long-term talent pipelines. • Establish MOUs (Memorandums of Understanding) with colleges for continuous hiring support. • Stay updated with market trends, salary benchmarks, and availability of talent in the electrical and manufacturing sector. ⸻ 2. HR Generalist & Support (20%) • Assist in policy formation, HR processes, and documentation. • Manage attendance & leave data, and coordinate with the payroll team for monthly salary processing. • Ensure proper usage and data entry in HRMS / payroll software. • Support basic statutory compliance activities such as maintaining records, assisting in audits, and ensuring timely submission of HR-related documents. • Support onboarding, induction, and employee lifecycle management. • Assist in employee engagement activities and day-to-day HR operations. ⸻ Qualifications & Skills • 3–5 years of experience in recruitment, preferably in manufacturing, electrical, engineering, or technical hiring roles. • Strong understanding of hiring for ITI, Diploma, and Engineering roles. • Experience in campus hiring and building relationships with educational institutions. • Basic knowledge of HR policies, leave management, and payroll coordination. • Familiarity with HRMS / payroll software. • Excellent communication, coordination, and negotiation skills. • Ability to work independently, apply logical thinking, and handle multiple requirements. • Strong market awareness and ability to find the right talent pools
