Job Description

We are looking for a proactive, structured, and people-centric HR Manager to lead and elevate our human resources function across the company. This role is responsible for driving recruitment, compliance, engagement, and culture for a growing team across office, sales and plant locations.

Responsibilities

Recruitment & Talent Acquisition
  • Own the full-cycle hiring process from requisition to onboarding
  • Build strong pipelines through job portals, consultants, referrals, and employer branding initiatives
  • Work closely with department heads to close open roles within defined TATs
  • Drive campus hiring, internship programs, and lateral hiring for key functions
  • Ensure offer-to-joining conversion and smooth onboarding experiences
Compliance, Payroll & Administration
  • Ensure 100% compliance with labor laws (PF, ESI, Gratuity, Bonus, Shops & Establishment, etc.)
  • Oversee payroll, F&F settlements, and HR audits
  • Maintain up-to-date records and SOP adherence in the ERP system
  • Manage office admin, vendor coordination, and travel logistics

Plant & Workforce Coordination

  • Conduct regular visits to plant locations to ensure ground-level HR effectiveness
  • Handle attendance tracking, leave discipline, worker onboarding, and coordination with labor contractors
  • Ensure hygiene, grievance handling, and policy adherence across locations
Employee Engagement & Culture
  • Plan and execute quarterly employee engagement activities, team events, and R&R programs
  • Own the onboarding-to-exit journey with consistent, positive employee experiences
  • Drive pulse surveys, feedback loops, and internal communication
  • Champion a culture of accountability, transparency, and care
Learning & Development
  • Roll out training sessions and L&D initiatives based on team needs
  • Track feedback and impact of internal and external training
  • Promote a growth mindset across teams through learning pathways

Qualifications

  • Graduate/Postgraduate in MBA Human Resources or related field
  • Army background preferred
  • 8-10 years of HR experience, last 4-5 years in FMCG or manufacturing sectors
  • In-depth understanding of Indian labor laws and compliance
  • Strong execution skills with ERP systems (ERPNext preferred)
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Comfortable with field visits, plant HR coordination, and working across teams
  • High ownership, structured mindset, and people-first approach
