Core responsibilities

  • Conduct audits: Perform internal audits to verify compliance with employment laws, internal policies, and external regulations.
  • Analyze data: Scrutinize HR data to identify trends, patterns, and areas of risk or non-compliance.
  • Maintain records: Ensure the accuracy, security, and proper maintenance of all employee records and documentation.
  • Review policies and practices: Evaluate the effectiveness of HR policies, such as those covering hiring, compensation, benefits, and workplace safety, to ensure they align with current laws.
  • Reporting: Document findings from audits and provide detailed reports to management with actionable recommendations for improvement.
  • Training and guidance: Assist in training HR staff and employees on compliance-related topics and provide subject matter expertise on projects.
  • Collaboration: Work with other departments, such as Legal, Operations, and Finance, as well as external auditors, to address compliance issues.
  • Key areas of focus for an HR compliance audit
  • Employee recordkeeping: Reviewing employment contracts, personal information, and other documents for accuracy and completeness.
  • Hiring practices: Evaluating selection processes and interview questions to ensure they are non-discriminatory.
  • Wage and hour compliance: Verifying that employees are correctly classified and paid in accordance with labor laws like the FLSA.
  • Benefits administration: Assessing if benefits packages meet legal requirements and are administered fairly.
  • Workplace safety: Evaluating policies and practices to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Tiruppur, Tamil Nadu: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)

  • Bachelor's (Preferred)

Experience:

  • HR: 5 years (Preferred)
