Job Summary: BPO Preferred

The HR Manager - Business HR will serve as a strategic partner to the business, ensuring that HR strategies align with the company’s overall business goals. The role involves overseeing HR functions such as talent management, employee relations, organizational development, performance management, and workforce planning. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in HR operations and a deep understanding of business processes to drive strategic HR initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

· Strategic HR Partnership:

o Collaborate with business leaders to understand their needs and develop HR strategies that support business objectives.

o Provide HR expertise and advice to senior management, ensuring the HR perspective is integrated into business decisions.

· Talent Management:

o Lead talent acquisition efforts for critical roles within the business unit, ensuring alignment with long-term workforce planning.

o Manage the talent development process, including succession planning, leadership development, and employee career progression.

· Employee Relations & Engagement:

o Act as a trusted advisor for employee relations issues, including conflict resolution, employee grievances, and disciplinary actions.

· Performance Management:

o Oversee the performance appraisal process, providing guidance to managers on goal setting, feedback, and performance improvement plans.

o Ensure consistent application of performance management policies across the organization.

· Organizational Development:

· Identify opportunities for organizational improvement and lead initiatives for enhancing business performance through effective HR solutions.

· Drive change management processes to support business growth, restructuring, and culture change.

Compliance & Policy Implementation:

· Ensure compliance with all HR-related laws and regulations, including labor laws, employment standards, and health and safety guidelines.

· Review and update HR policies and procedures to align with business needs and legal requirements.

HR Metrics & Reporting:

· Track and report on key HR metrics, such as employee turnover, retention, and performance, to ensure data-driven decision-making.

· Provide insights and recommendations to business leaders based on HR analytics.

Learning & Development:

· Identify training needs within the business unit and collaborate with the Learning & Development team to design and implement relevant programs.

· Promote a culture of continuous learning and upskilling.

Qualifications & Skills:

· Education: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field. Master’s degree or HR certifications (e.g., SHRM, CIPD) is preferred.

· Experience: 8-10 years of progressive HR experience, with at least 5 years in a leadership role, preferably in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

· Skills:

o Strong understanding of HR best practices and employment law.

o Proven ability to influence and partner with senior business leaders.

o Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

o Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on data-driven decision-making.

o Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.

o Experience with HR systems and software.
